21K gold rate

21K gold rate in Pakistan today

21K gold is 87.5% pure and stamped 875. It is less common than 22K in Pakistan but appears often in imported and Gulf-style pieces. Here is the last 21K reading we recorded.

21K versus 22K

The difference is roughly four percentage points of purity: 87.5% against 91.6%. Per gram, 21K costs less, but it is also slightly paler and holds intricate settings a little better.

Where you'll see 21K

Gulf-manufactured chains, bracelets and some machine-made designs are commonly 21K. If a piece was bought in Dubai or Saudi Arabia, check the stamp before assuming it is 22K.

Don't compare karats by rupee alone

A 21K piece quoted at a lower per-gram figure is not automatically better value — you are also buying less gold per gram. Convert both to the same purity basis before deciding.

Selling or exchanging 21K later

21K exchanges cleanly as long as the stamp is genuine. Bring the piece in and we will weigh it in front of you and quote against the day's rate for that karat.
